Welcome to Part 2 of a 4 part series talking about Telehealth Physical Therapy!

All About Telehealth Physical Therapy

Part 2: The Evaluation

First, you will log into your appointment.  You will receive an appointment link either in your email, or in your text message reminders.  Once you click on the link, I will admit you into the treatment room.  Best part about the software I use is that it is HIPAA compliant!

Here is a video showing you how to start your appointment: https://drbarbwally.com/2025/08/10/video-watch-to-learn-how-to-start-your-appointment-after-it-has-been-scheduled/

Next, we will talk.  You will need about one hour of time so that I can sit down with you one-on-one and figure out what is going on!  I will talk to you about your paperwork, ask questions, and figure out where to go from there.  A thorough history is ESSENTIAL to appropriate and high level care.  It is at least 50% (if not more) of the information I need to treat you, whether in person or online.

After we finish talking, I will watch you move and take measurements.  Yes, I can take measurements through a computer screen!  I will watch to see where you may have asymmetries side to side, and see where maybe your posture or movements may need some work.  I can even take still shots and short videos to show you what I am seeing.  Often times, seeing is believing!

Here is a video showing you how a session will look: https://drbarbwally.com/2025/08/03/video-how-a-telehealth-or-online-session-would-look/

I hope this is helpful!  Stay tuned for Part 3: The Exercises
