Welcome to Part 4 of a 4 part series talking about what to expect with a Telehealth Physical Therapy session!

All About Telehealth Physical Therapy
Part 4: The Follow-Up
The best part about our first session, is that we can decide whether we need to do a follow up session. Since I have my doctorate and am able to do direct access without a provider’s referral, I have 4 weeks to treat you without a referral in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, and 3 weeks in Georgia. We can plan for a few follow-ups, or one follow up, or none! Whatever works best with your budget, your home exercise program, and your progress.
Telehealth Physical Therapy is meant to be very independent, and for those who just need guidance. But, I can be more involved for whoever needs more of my time. That is the best part about doing an evaluation and being one-on-one – we can decide what is right for you!

I can progress the exercises I have already given you in a follow-up session, I can take new measurements to see what kind of progress you have made, and we can even compare still shots of your posture that I took from session 1 to the follow up. I can give you new exercises, and even discuss a change in course from the original session if necessary.
And, if we have passed the 3-4 week time frame for treatment, we can always get a referral from your primary care doctor or other provider to continue for a longer period of time.
