Did you know that caffeine can affect athletic performance?

Caffeine can increased mental awareness! It is highly effective to help your brain function at a better level, especially when tired or there is a lack of sleep.

It can also increase your metabolic rate. What this means is that caffeine can increase your body’s processes. You can potentially lose a marginal amount of weight (likely negligible) with use.

And, it can reduce fatigue. So when you are tired, it can boost your energy levels!

Many athletes use performance drinks before they participate in sports that also have caffeine in them! But use caution, because they can also be detrimental to your health if used in high concentrations.
