Did you know that elevating your legs (or arms!) after an injury is an important part of the healing process?
Elevating your limb (must be ABOVE heart level) is crucial to let gravity help work the swelling out of your limbs. This is effective not just for something like an ankle sprain or following surgery, but also when you tend to accumulate fluid in your legs.
You can move your feet around while elevated, and typically for 15-20 minutes a few times a day. You can also heat or ice at the same time for an added benefit!
Using a comfortable leg prop can be very helpful! Amazon Link to Leg Prop: https://amzn.to/4nKcycD
