Did you know a walking stick or trekking poles for hiking can be extremely helpful?

Chose a stick at or slightly taller than your shoulder. Often, used walking sticks can be found at the start of highly trafficked trails. You can place your hand anywhere it is comfortable to you.

A walking stick is very comfortable and can help if you have balance issues on the trail, or if the terrain is extremely rugged.

It can also help your hands if your hands tend to swell on long walks or hikes.
