Have you been dealing with shoulder pain and can’t figure out how to make it go away for good? Well you might be doing something that you don’t realize is making it worse.

What is the problem making your shoulder pain worse?
It is carrying a purse, briefcase, laptop bag, or over the shoulder bag.
Yep, this is a bugger, especially for women or people who have to carry things on their shoulders day after day. Especially if the load is always distributed on one shoulder.
As a woman, your purse should be no heavier than 5 to 6 lbs. Go weigh your bag and get back to me! I usually suggest clearing it out, and replacing larger, heavier items with travel sized options. And making the bag smaller. That way, you wont be tempted to put in the full sized hair brush, the book, the water bottle, etc. See what I mean? And I hate to sacrifice fashion, but your shoulder will thank you.

Also, if you carry a laptop or work materials daily, look for backpack options or carry cases on wheels. I know this may should ridiculous, but our bodies cannot handle heavy loads like this day after day.

When travelling, opt for checking your bag or if you have a carry on, make sure it has 4 wheels to save your shoulder. Duffle bags require one sided loads, which are very hard on the shoulder. And, if you need a personal item, make sure you secure it to the wheeled carry on so that your shoulders can remain load free! And if you checked the luggage and still need a personal item, opt for a backpack or very light bag.
I hope this helps you regain healthy shoulders again!
