Are you dealing with knee pain and cannot figure out why? Or why it will not go away? Well there may be a simple habit that is contributing to your pain.

So what is contributing to your knee pain?
It is sitting with your knees underneath you (or sitting on one of your feet).
I know it sounds bizarre, but really watch yourself especially on the couch. When you sit down, if you feel the need to pull your leg underneath you, or you like to sit on your foot, you are putting a lot of undue strain and torsion through your knee.
Try to think about sitting with your legs up on an ottoman or in a recliner. If you sit at a computer chair for a living, and you do this, you need a full overhaul of your workstation. You may need a foot rest underneath you, or a lumbar support to help keep you from pulling that leg underneath you. You might want to think about changing your chair altogether!
I hope this helps! Feel free to reach out to me if you think your posture needs an overhaul, or your knee pain just wont go away!
