Are you dealing with pain in the front or side of your hip, and you cannot figure out why? Well there might be one simple habit that is contributing to your hip pain.

It is standing with most of your weight shifted onto one leg.
This one might have you scratching your head – what do you mean?? Next time you are standing in line at the grocery store, I want you to think about whether you can stand on both of your legs for a long period of time with equal weight through each foot. If not, and you find yourself shifting most, if not all, of your weight to one side, this might be for you!
Try this instead. Stand with your weight equal through both legs. You can shift your weight to one side, but don’t let your hip drop or your knee lock out straight. I bet you feel your muscles working harder! If this is too difficult to do, just train yourself to stand with your weight on each foot equally, and engage your core (abdominal muscles).
I hope this helps! Please reach out to me if you are having hip pain and need help!
